La compa\u00f1\u00eda l\u00edder mundial en soluciones de reconocimiento facial en multitudes, Herta Security<\/a>, lanza esta semana una nueva versi\u00f3n de algoritmos de reconocimiento facial capaces de identificar correctamente a personas que utilizan mascarillas faciales<\/strong>. La compa\u00f1\u00eda llevaba tiempo trabajando especialmente en el tema de oclusiones parciales y, tras el brote mundial de coronavirus (CoVid19<\/strong>), se ha acelerado el desarrollo para lanzar al mercado una versi\u00f3n del software que ayude a la identificaci\u00f3n en estas condiciones.<\/p>\n

Apoyados en tecnolog\u00eda de Deep Learning, los algoritmos de Herta proporcionan tasas muy altas de identificaci\u00f3n, en especial en tareas de verificaci\u00f3n de la identidad y su fiabilidad es muy elevada, a\u00fan cuando las personas oculten una gran parte de su rostro. Es importante recordar que la parte m\u00e1s diferencial del rostro se encuentran en la zona de los ojos.<\/p>\n

El lanzamiento de este software es clave para la realizaci\u00f3n de identificaci\u00f3n en sistemas autom\u00e1ticos de control de viajeros con documentaci\u00f3n, tales como el control de fronteras con el pasaporte. De esta forma no ser\u00e1 necesario que la persona se quite su mascarilla, evitando posibles contagios o largos tiempos de espera. Su aplicaci\u00f3n, en general, se extiende a cualquier tipo de control de acceso o sistema de verificaci\u00f3n de la identidad.<\/p>\n
